Although many of the toys and collectibles we offer in our “Cool Stuff” category are aimed at children who enjoy action figures, many of them are also enjoyed by adults. However, unless you have extremely little feet, the new Adidas Toy Story 25th anniversary range of footwear and apparel is exclusively for children.
Adidas is releasing a full line of Toy Story athletic shoes in celebration of the significant anniversary of Pixar’s first full-length computer-animated film, with each pair taking design cues from one of the film’s primary characters. There’s also a particular basketball you might want to pick up if you’re a longtime Pixar fan.

Yeehaw! With these shoes designed in the likeness of their favourite cowboy and cowgirl, Woody and Jessie, your kids will be prepared to move this waggon train along as well. Kids could care less that these shoes are hideous as all get-out. They will be thrilled to see all the features drawn from Woody and Jessie’s iconic country western attire.
This pair of Buzz Lightyear, space ranger-inspired sporting sneakers has a slightly more conventional appearance. The shoes themselves shine under a black light in addition to having the colour pattern of the character’s space outfit. Perhaps they simply shine in the dark. We are unsure. However, seeing Andy’s name engraved on the outsole is the greatest part. The Woody shoe mentioned above is the only other shoe with that signature.
For Andy’s piggy bank Ham and his frightened dinosaur Rex, the coolest shoes from this collection were made. These are simply great, everyday Adidas shoes in well-known Originals designs. Rex’s high-top is decorated with his pointed teeth and trendy green scales, while Ham’s is a pink low-top with a hint of shine.
Last but not least, three distinct shoes for kids to wear on the basketball court or on the football field were inspired by the crane machine aliens from Pizza Planet. Football cleats come in two different varieties, and a basketball shoe is also available. All of your child’s peers will certainly be saying, “Oooooooh!” because each features the vivid green and blue colour scheme of the aliens themselves.
Even if all of these shoes are only for children, there is one item that adults will find appealing. The iconic red star ball from Pixar, which can be seen in some capacity in each and every Pixar film, has been transformed into a basketball. It’s most likely the most cool component of the entire set.
