“Spider-Man: No Way Home” became the kind of pop culture phenomenon that some of us believed we’d never see again, finishing 2021 as not just the year’s biggest film (by an absurdly large margin), but also one of the highest-grossing films in history. But some people are still eagerly anticipating the opportunity to view the film at home, whether it is for the first time or simply to repeatedly enjoy the superhero fun. The good news is that we finally have the date of the digital release, which is wonderful news in either scenario. Here are the locations and times when you can watch “No Way Home” at home.
Spider-Man: No Way Home Digital Release Date
Sony Pictures has revealed that “Spider-Man: No Way Home” would be made available on Digital HD on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, one week earlier than originally planned, on Vudu, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and all other digital retailers. Pre-orders for it can be made now for $19.99 separately, $34.99 as part of the Tom Holland “Spider-Man” trilogy, or $59.99 as part of the “Spider-Man” eight-film collection.
The good news is that it provides viewers with a specific date to anticipate. Unfortunately, Sony held the movie exclusively in theatres for longer than most huge movies these days, which is bad news for fans who have been waiting to view it at home. Nevertheless, given how well it has been doing at the box office and the fact that “Morbius” has been postponed, there won’t be much competition for at least the first few weeks of the year. However, “No Way Home” has already surpassed even “Avengers: Endgame” in terms of pre-orders for any title in Vudu’s history.
What About the Blu-ray?
We also have coverage for those who are waiting for the physical release. The movie will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on April 12, 2022, according to Sony. That is a little longer than we’re used to waiting these days, but there’s no reason to rush it when your movie is smashing box office records. Best Buy’s exclusive Steelbook release was already hinted at, so we are aware that it will be released alongside the other options that will be more publicly accessible. Pre-orders should become available as soon as possible, so keep an eye out.
For the third instalment, “Spider-Man: Far From Home” filmmaker Jon Watts, who also helmed “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” took over. The cast also features Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans in addition to Tom Holland, who is reprising his role as Peter Parker.
In theatres currently is “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.
