All the Peters!
In one of their livestream videos where they preview upcoming action figures, Hasbro Pulse unveiled the new Marvel Legends figures for “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” However, they did release the whole digital renderings, which you can see above. Unfortunately, it’s too early to see the actual action figurines for the Petersen-hand. However, bear in mind that as the actual toys go through a thorough review procedure, there might be a few minor changes between these renderings and the finished figurines.
Tobey Maguire’s original “Spider-Man” will be available in Marvel Legends, and unlike previous Spider-Man figures, his figure includes the correct raised web design on his body. It’s nice to see the attention to detail here because it’s a distinguishing feature of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man outfit.
The “Amazing Spider-Man” played by Andrew Garfrield likewise has elevated webbing on his body, though not as pronouncedly as Tobey Maguire’s Spidey. Additionally, he appears to be the only one who has a shooting web.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the integrated suit from the decisive confrontation is shown off here. Since it was first released, this version of the figure has received improvements, such as properly painted web lines (even though they aren’t raised like the other Spider-Men).
I love you guys!
You’ll also see that the Spider-Man figures’ varying heights and body types have been considered.
The shortest actor is Tom Holland, while the lankiest is Andrew Garfield. With all the muscle Tobey Maguire has developed over the years, he has the distinction of being the bigger Spider-Man. The fact that we don’t get the heads sculpts for each actor is just a little disappointing. Due to likeness rights, that would probably increase the price of the figures, but it would definitely improve the bargain.
The amount of deco detail on these figurines is considerably above what Marvel Legends typically offers, as the Marvel Legends people point out, which is why this is a Hasbro Pulse exclusive and it’s a touch more expensive than what a typical three-pack of figures could typically cost you. Costing $89.99 is the action figure set for “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
