The concept of the multiverse—a collection of various, independent realms existing side by side—seems to be a major focus of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Before Doctor Strange deals with the Multiverse of Madness next year, Spider-Man: No Way Homeis ready to immerse audiences in that chaos by reintroducing well-known heroes and antagonists from previous iterations of Spider-Man movies into the MCU. Some characters have the ability to jump in and out of those universes.
The Spider-Man: No Way Home logo glitches in a manner that is strikingly similar to the problems that occurred in the 2018 animated classic Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, according to a now-deleted tweet from the Sony Pictures Argentina account.
New Spider-Man: No Way Home Logo
Sony Pictures Argentina tweeted (then deleted) a new glitching logo animation for #SpiderManNoWayHome, now with an all red version of the logo!
We’ve guessed this could be a nod to similar effects in INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, as well as WandaVision.

Could We See a Spider-Man: No Way Home and Into the Spider-Verse Crossover?
For example, Alfred Molina is reprising his role as Doc Ock from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, and Jamie Foxx is reprising his role as Electro from 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. We have known for months that Spider-Man: No Way Home will feature characters from movies that Marvel Studios did not produce. However, as of now, there has been no word on whether or not Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse—first Sony’s full-length animated film—will be making an appearance in No Way Home. However, this glitchy logo, which is extremely reminiscent of the glitchy, comic book-inspired visual style that set Spider-Verse apart from its rivals, makes me wonder whether a crossover is actually on the horizon.
I’ve always thought that Marvel’s live-action multiverse investigation will just be a prequel to Into the Spider-Verse. However, just because it was an animated film does not indicate that live-action characters from No Way Homemight accidentally end up in its animation environment, or the other way around. We’ve seen animated scenes in Marvel productions before (recently, in Loki’s episode from last week), but nothing as challenging as having live-action characters and characters that are supposed to be animated share the same area. But everything must be tried for the first time.
Additionally, WandaVision had a lot of glitches as well, and that Disney+ series established Wanda Maximoff as a nexus being who will play a significant role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Naturally, “the Hex,” a dome-shaped force field Wanda built over the town of Westview, New Jersey, served as the main location for WandaVision. The hexagon, a six-sided geometric figure that can be seen in the letters of the new Spider-Man: No Way Homelogo, was one of the key shapes in that hex structure and also appeared in numerous other locations throughout the series.
The movie Spider-Man: No Way Home debuts on December 17, 2021.
