According to our survey, The Lizard may be the worst Spider-Man movie antagonist, but that didn’t stop “Spider-Man: No Way Home” from reintroducing him alongside Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as former Peter Parkers. Furthermore, Hot Toys will still release figures of all three of them in 2023.
First, there will be two 1/6 scale figures from Garfield’s “Amazing Spider-Man” film trilogy in the third and fourth quarters of 2023. (viaThe Toy Ark). The character’s appearance in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” is the basis for the The Amazing Spider-Man 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure. It has 30 points of articulation, a masked head sculpt, and an interchangeable head featuring a precise likeness of Garfield as Peter Parker.
The figurine is around 30 cm tall and is dressed in Spidey’s well-known red and blue outfit, as shown above. 13 distinct hands are included in its accessories, which you can switch out for various stances. There is a pair for finger pointing, as well as a pair for web shooting and web swinging, so you can reenact your favourite Spider-Man meme just as Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Garfield did for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The Lizard 1/6th Scale Diorama Base is sort of a half-figure that comes built into said diorama base. It is based on the Rhys Ifans character from “No Way Home” and “The Amazing Spider-Man.” It depicts Electro being surrounded by crackling lightning as Lizzie bursts through construction girders and debris. Sandman’s also getting in on the action with Lizard
The 1/6th Scale Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Collectible Figure will swing your way somewhere between the fourth quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. Additionally, this figure features 30 points of articulation and reaches 30 cm tall. Don’t worry, there are still two hands for finger-pointing along with ones for web shooting, swinging, and carrying a villain’s cure, this time for Sandman. It has a costume with silver webbing instead of black webbing and comes with 12 instead of 13 hands. The figure also features an adjustable head with Maguire’s real likeness and a mask.
Hot Toys also has a deluxe version of the 1/6th scale Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Collectible Figure available if that isn’t enough for you. This version includes a Sandman diorama, and the product listing states that a Special Edition will be offered in a few areas that also includes a bonus tentacle from Doctor Octopus.
